Nurture and Education for Children aged 2 years – 5 years, Monday - Friday | 8:15 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
As an outreach of Mandarin Presbyterian Church, our mission is to love children to love Jesus! We want them to know that God loves them immeasurably and that they are important to Him.
At MPP, we have a ‘hands on’ approach to learning via exploration, imagination, and experimentation where responsibility and independence are fostered to help build confidence and self-esteem.
About Our Program
- Our goal is for each child to have fun and learn simultaneously so that this first school experience sets them up for future school success.
- Classroom time combines teacher directed hands-on activities to build skills as well as child-initiated free-play.
- Music, art, cooking, and science experiments enhance and reinforce learning and augment our curriculum.

Our teacher/child ratios are 1:6 or 2:12/13.
Every teacher holds a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a field related to education or has taken education courses specific to early childhood education.
All employees have taken the required DCF courses.
All employees are involved in yearly continuing education.
Staff are also certified in First Aid and CPR.
Every staff member has been fingerprinted, screened for criminal and abuse background, and have character references on file.
Room furnishings and toys are sanitized regularly with DCF approved cleaning solution of Clorox and water.
Our students / staff are required to wash hands numerous times during the day in order to reduce the spread of germs and illnesses.
